A Year of Compassion, Kindness, and Hope
Happy holidays to our family and friends who have been key supporters of the TramutoPorter Foundation vision. As Jeff and I reflect on the last year, we thank you for your continued support, love, and compassion toward those in need. Through our travels and projects in the last year, we have met so many people who share in our hope that the challenges facing the world today can be successfully addressed if we start from a place of compassion, kindness, and understanding of the uniqueness that each person offers.

As we have often shared with others, it makes no difference how much you give – it makes no difference how much you do – what makes the difference is you gave something, and you did something.
To date, The TramutoPorter Foundation has supported nearly 140 organizations in some capacity and more than 100 students have benefited from our scholarship program.
As some of you may know, Jeff and I are proud to contribute our own funds towards these important efforts. In fact, 93% of all direct (non-gala) contributions are directly from Jeff and myself – with the remaining 7% from Board Members, family, and friends. Whether you joined us on this journey from the very beginning, like several of our Board members following the events of September 11th, or more recently, we are truly thankful for everyone’s support and friendship.
In closing, we have embarked down a path of making a significant contribution and investment in the Compassionate Leadership movement.
We believe that strengthening the compassionate leadership movement is the best way to scale our efforts for a kinder and gentler world. It is virtually impossible for us to calculate the total number of expendable hours we’ve spent presenting on this topic to Colleges/Universities, not for profit organizations, and many other institutions across the globe. These institutions are starving for more knowledge, information, and training on how to lead with compassion.
As we shared at the beginning, we are grateful to the many people we have met in the last year and even more inspired by their commitment to help drive forward a world whereby we take the time to “listen to understand” rather than “reacting” to the stories of others. They see a world of hope – not a world of despair and looking into their eyes – they give us the fuel and inspiration to wake up each day and continue our mission to do good.
Thank you and have a very Blessed Holiday!
