The TramutoPorter Foundation Launches GoFundMe Campaign to Provide Emergency Assistance for Individuals in Need Due to the Maui Wildfires
Ogunquit, ME., August 12, 2023 — The TramutoPorter Foundation, a non-profit organization with the goal of making the world more compassionate and kind by making resources available to individuals and communities in need, announces a GoFundMe Campaign to provide immediate financial assistance to two local organizations supporting those impacted by the Maui wildfires.
The Foundation Campaign has set a goal of $100,000 and has identified two local organizations to receive these funds. The organizations are:
- The Maui Strong Fund
Under the auspices of the Hawai’i Community Foundation, The Maui Strong Fund was created to provide community resilience with resources for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. The fund is currently being used to support communities affected by the wildfires on Maui. - Maui Food Bank
Maui Food Bank’s mission is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships Maui Food Bank donates food to disaster relief efforts on the island.
“Over the years, and for long stretches of time, we have had the opportunity to call Hawaii home. As a result, we have extensive connections in the area and felt compelled to work quickly with community leaders to identify organizations on the ground that can provide emergency assistance,” said Donato Tramuto, Co-Founder of TramutoPorter Foundation and Health eVillages. “The Foundation has launched this GoFundMe to provide a place for our Foundation and Health eVillages partners, friends and family to offer their support.”
