Lviv, Ukraine | by Andriyko Podilnyk

OGUNQUIT, Maine, March 14, 2022 – The TramutoPorter Foundation has made a significant donation to support the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia (RFKI) humanitarian efforts for the people of Ukraine affected by the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Throughout the escalating situation in Ukraine, RFKI is committed to collecting food and personal care products, and transporting them to Ukraine and to the refugee camps in Sighetu Marmației, at the Romania-Ukraine border.

Donato J. Tramuto, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Board Member and Co-Chair of the RFKI Board of Directors, recently commented on Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his emerging leadership style, telling Fortune that Zelenskyy’s actions demonstrate the ability to listen to and interpret the needs of his people, quoted saying, “This should serve as an example to all of us that the old order of leadership is no longer sustainable.”

“Compassionate leadership begins with focusing on the issues of the people in your organization, and as world citizens, we all have a responsibility to support those who cannot support themselves,” said Tramuto, global health activist and founder of the TramutoPorter Foundation and Health eVillages. “By helping the people of Ukraine, we’re illustrating to the world that leadership by force will not be tolerated and that we’re firmly committed to compassionate support of global humanitarian efforts.”

In his upcoming book, THE DOUBLE BOTTOM LINE: How Compassionate Leaders Captivate Hearts and Deliver Results, Tramuto makes the case that embracing compassion and humanity to a greater degree will drive the workplace (and the world) forward.
